Based on the photographic archive of the Association for Research and Dissemination of the Historical Memory of Trinitat Vella, Joan Tomás has created 12 compositions in which he relates different protest and festive acts with moments of the daily life of the neighbourhood, to which he has added images of giants, big heads, dragons and “trabucaires” that are a living memory of the history of the neighbourhood.

The set of compositions forms a mosaic for the history of the various struggles of the residents of Trinitat Vella who have promoted and helped build the neighbourhood, and pays tribute to all these people who are the creators of the neighbourhood’s festive and protest culture.
